Justin Nozuka Nashville Concert reviews
Worst sound ever
We drove 3.5 hours to attend the Justin Nozuka concert, and it turned out to be the worst concert experience we've had in the last 10 years between Vegas and SF. Our love for live rock music usually leads us to attend any event we can make it to. We had never been to Grand Sierra Resort before this and will definitely NOT be returning.
Our tickets indicated the concert would start at 8PM, but instead of Justin Nozuka, a school band performed for 30 minutes. It's always a drag when school bands take the stage, so we tried to be patient and wait for them to finish. Following the school band's performance, the stage crew started moving instruments around and making adjustments, resulting in loud noises as they tested everything at full volume. After enduring 20 minutes of this, another band appeared on stage for nearly an hour. They were better musically than the school band, but their excessive use of explicit language was off-putting, especially since we didn't expect it when purchasing our tickets.
Once the second band finally left the stage, we had to endure more sound adjustments before Justin Nozuka finally appeared at 10PM, two hours later than advertised. Unfortunately, the sound quality was just as bad as it had been with the previous bands. Frustrated and disappointed, we left after only four of Justin Nozuka's songs. This experience completely ruined our weekend and was a waste of money. Without a doubt, this is the worst venue we've been to in at least a decade. Period.
